The following is my letter to Richard Ruleas at the Arizona Republic newspaper regarding the fleet of new photo enforcement vans and cameras deployed around the Phoenix Metropolitan area:

I watched a good deal of the House Financial Services Committee hearings today. I can tell by the rhetoric that the deals are already in the works through the back offices. Reading between the lines, you can see them lining up at the trough of government handouts to steal what they can while the stealing is legal and good.
