I... You know what? Here it is: Local police will stand with the public I bet 95% of the time. These are the people that we see as assholes as teenagers, but that in most cases are really just our neighbors. I drink at a local bar that it just happens the cops go to. I talk with them about politics pretty often, and they are getting screwed as badly as the rest of us. The state-boys... eh, lower percentage, but still some real genuine people on the force. I'm sure you know some people that have gone into the military, can you picture them--those people specifically--holding us down by force? Or instead, would they when given an order like that, ask you "what is going on here? Why is our government asking me to arrest you?" One of the things drilled into our servicepeople is the defense of the constitution, and their families, ie. the American people (not their elected officials.) I have more friends in the military that are there for one of two reasons 1-they love their country and wanted to defend the People in it, or 2-they felt they had no option as far as their career possibilities. Of the people that I know in there, about 10 friends, I can see ONE of them acting in any way against us. I think they are a good representation of the people in service. Sure, I think it would take some hard thought on their part, but they would come to the right decision.

I don't think they could arrest us, mainly because the cops and military ARE us. Oh yeah, the protesters that showed up in London have a loony anarchistic agenda. They even use fake blood to make it appear as if they've been beaten by the police in order to gain support from people that don't know better.

Wow there's life on MLS! Thanx for dropping a line. I'm just about done with this site. There's more activity in the cold storage area of the local morgue than there is here.

I'm hesitant about deleting my profile though. I've added a lot of good informational videos to this site. I think if I delete my profile all those videos will get deleted. It took some time adding them to the collection, and if they help someone down the line get a better understanding of libertarianism they'll serve a useful purpose here. So I'm thinking I might just delete everything on this profile except for the videos section and leave the rest blank. So if I'm gone before the next time you visit MLS , you keep fighting the good fight and rock-on sister.

From where I'm standing it looks like MLS is dying off a bit. I know I get a little irritated when I come to check what's going on and just see a bunch of comment spamming.. I tend to just leave when I see that because I don't even want to read those. Is the comment spamming really necessary? Why not just post a blog...

Operation Politically Homeless??

After this election, with nearly everyone I've spoken to not liking the person they voted for, what do you guys think about Operation Politically Homeless or something similar? Winter isn't even really started yet so there is plenty of time to plan for spring and summer events for member recruiting or even just to help people find some direction. Even if that direction isn't the LP (but I think in many cases it probably would be) a great many people are politically confused right now.

So, you say there are groups out there using the libertarian name, right?

This was part of the contents on a flyer place (I believe) at a place of business in Missouri. It was supposedly from the Libertarian Party and it has apparently been reported to the police more than once. I was quick to say I knew for sure it was not from anyone in the real LP, but I suppose I should have checked first.
