LP Monday Message: Republicans and Democrats are both terrible for health care

November 23, 2009

Dear Friend of Liberty,

I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little tired of hearing Republicans act self-righteous about this health care bill. Of course it's a terrible bill that will increase government and taxes and make our health care worse -- but let's take a short trip down memory lane.

It was so nice to see 167 people respond within two days to last week's call for candidates. I'll remind you again that expressing interest is an important first step in the process of working with our state and local affiliates to get candidates onto the ballot.

LP Monday Message: Help us Oppose Health Care Plan

November 2, 2009

Dear Friend of Liberty,

The Republicans had control of the federal government for years, and they used their power to greatly increase the size, scope, and burden of government.

Now the Democrats are in charge and they're doing it too. Their health care plan currently in the works is a serious threat to liberty.

I was wondering how to reach out so we could start some sort of march or protests in response to those going around all over the world that are speaking out against capitalism, as if it were the culprit, or as if we have it. Is anybody interested? Or does anybody know any other venues through which I may be able to get the world out. Contact me here or at wehavetowalk@yahoo.com
