Dear Friend of Liberty,
I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little tired of hearing Republicans act self-righteous about this health care bill. Of course it's a terrible bill that will increase government and taxes and make our health care worse -- but let's take a short trip down memory lane.
Wayne Allyn Root jousts with President Clinton's former press secretary, Joe Lockhart, over the TARP bailouts, deficits and jobs on MSNBC's "The Kudlow Report".

Dear Friend of Liberty,
It was so nice to see 167 people respond within two days to last week's call for candidates. I'll remind you again that expressing interest is an important first step in the process of working with our state and local affiliates to get candidates onto the ballot.
Joe Kennedy, a member of the Libertarian Party, is running to fill the unexpired Senate term of the deceased Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy. The special election will be held on January 19, 2010.
David Blau, chair of the Libertarian Party of Massachusetts, says, "While [Mr. Kennedy] will appear on the ballot as an Independent due to a provision of state law, I have spoken with him at length and believe him to be an excellent libertarian candidate."

Dear Friend of Liberty,
The Republicans had control of the federal government for years, and they used their power to greatly increase the size, scope, and burden of government.
Now the Democrats are in charge and they're doing it too. Their health care plan currently in the works is a serious threat to liberty.
